LinkedIn copy for a grant writer
Hello everyone!
I’ve launched a video series to talk more about how small, suburban communities can compete and gain access to FEMA grants for flood mitigation projects.
And my first episode is a good overview of of the process. Here are some key takeaways that you’ll hear on the episode:
– If you’re in need of financial assistance for a stalled flood mitigation project, information on the show can help you navigate the grant application process.
– Timing is everything when it comes to applying for FEMA grant assistance, so be sure not to miss that narrow funding window!
– I will give you an overview of what you need to know about the FEMA grant process for flood mitigation, including the importance of having a hazard mitigation plan in place.
– The show also covers examples of projects that have been successful in the past, and gives helpful tips for making sure your application stands out.
Not a video person? Not to worry–there’s a full blog post as well.

Instagram copy for a therapist
Isn’t it kinda nutty how we expect everyone to heal the exact same way after divorce, but what they’re healing *from* has so many causes?
But beyond talk therapy, what can you do?
After all, not everyone is comfortable talking to a therapist or counselor about the personal hardships they are experiencing.
Some don’t see the results they’re hoping for with talk therapy alone. If that’s the case for you, don’t worry—there are still plenty of ways to begin your journey towards healing.

Social post for a book launch consultant
Ever flown into LaGuardia in NYC?
For mainstream travel (in the US, at least), it’s my least favorite airport. The runway is shorter than many other big airports of its size and the approach is right over the Long Island Sound. Of the major NYC airports, it’s always the first to shut down in bad weather.
Every time I’ve flown into that airport, I’ve clenched my armrests as if it were my very first roller coaster at age 9.
I’m normally a great flyer!
But I just want to belt out, “We need more runway!”
Here’s why this matters: I want to belt out that same phrase sometimes when an author comes to me for their book launch… in three weeks.
Know what the best amount of time to prep your book launch is?
If you guessed definitely more than three weeks, you’d be right.
Real talk here:
Six months is a really good amount of time to plan your book launch. Four months is the minimum.
Now–that doesn’t mean your book is written and edited and then you start the clock. You can still be writing!
But you do need to start thinking with your marketer’s hat well before it’s time to actually start publicly promoting your book.
Ready for a bit more real talk?
This one is kinda scary.
Most authors only sell 250 copies. On average. Over a whole lifetime.
➡️ It’s because they wrote their book as a passion project without an eye toward profitability!
Belatedly, they may have realized they went about it all wrong.
**And that’s where I come in.**
May I toot my own horn for a sec?
Cool. I’m really focused on you monetizing your book, not just publishing it. That’s what sets me apart from other book launch specialists–and certainly from other marketers!
Now–if you’re still in the pre-writing stage, I have a resource for you.

I’m not a writing coach. And I’m not a book editor. So if you’re interested in getting help with the writing process I’m not your gal and they are.
But since we’re already talking about your launch runway…
Start thinking about launch dates while you’re writing!
